The Milton Keynes Lightning is thrilled to announce the return of forward Sean Norris for the remainder of the 2024/25 season. Known for his exceptional point-scoring ability, skillful play, and impressive skating, Norris is set to make an immediate impact on the ice.
In the 2021-2022 season, Norris showcased his offensive prowess with MK Lightning, recording 31 goals and 37 assists in 43 league games. This performance earned him a move on a 2-way contract to the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL), where he contributed to the Belfast Giants’ treble-winning season in 2022-2023, tallying 4 goals and 2 assists in 11 regular-season games. He also made his mark internationally, debuting for Great Britain and participating in both Olympic qualifiers and the World Championships.
23/24 saw Sean sign with the Belfast Giants full time, where he scored 3 goals and 11 assists on 50 games.
Norris began the current season with the Guildford Flames, appearing in 10 games and recording 1 goal and 1 assist.
“I’m glad to be back and excited to get going,” said Norris.
Head Coach Tim Wallace expressed his enthusiasm for Norris’s return: “I am very excited to get Sean back in Milton Keynes. Sean is a dynamic player that has the attitude to do what it takes to improve and push himself on and off the ice. He will step in and play a big role right away.”
The Lightning are yet to confirm when Norris will return and play his first game back with the Lightning
