MK Lightning Vs Romford Raiders preview featuring Tim Wallace
It’s no secret that the Lightning are the strongest team on home ice and despite trailing by a goal many fans are still touting them as favourites.
Wallace spoke on the home advantage saying “We play a certain way and the bigger ice suits our style, the fans are amazing and give us that extra boost on the ice.
“The scoreline will not be brought up at all, we have our way of playing and we will play the same way.” Quoted Wallace.

The Lightning will be hoping to try stay out the box in the second leg after Romford scored twice on the powerplay, but statistically they have been much more disciplined at home.
It has been different previous weekends for both teams with the Lightning getting a four point weekend and the Raiders suffering two tough losses.
Tim spoke on the Lightnings form saying “We are playing really well and need to get that confidence going. It is anybody’s game and we are all excited for the opportunity to get to the final!”

The Lightning did sign Sean Norris last Thursday but he will be unavailable as he hasn’t played in a cup game this season.
But a positive it to see Milique Martelly back in the Lightning lineup after suffering a big collision in the first leg.
“I am very lucky to be able to be both coaching but also playing, and every player in my team is excited to play in front of a packed barn.” Quoted Wallace.
It’s set to be a cracker Thursday night with two of the best attacking teams going head to head. Wallace finished off with a message to the Lightning fans.
“Keep doing what you are doing, we are very thankful for everyone who supports and comes to watch every weekend, Let’s keep it rolling!”
