1. Eric Henderson - Telford Tigers
With the Telford Tigers securing yet another four-point weekend in their battle for the play-offs. It was Eric Henderson who was on of the many players who stepped up. On Saturday night the Tigers secured a 8-5 victory at home against the Sheffield Steeldogs with Eric getting five assists on the night. Then on the Sunday he scored twice and assisted a further two in their 6-5 overtime victory against the Hull Seahawks. Nine points across the weekend taking his season tally to 70 in 37 games.
2. Matt Bissonnette - Leeds Knights
It was also a four-point weekend for the Knights with Matt Bissonnette running the show. On Friday night he got three assists in their battle Knights 9-6 victory against the Romford Raiders. Then on Sunday he scored a hat-trick and a further two assists in their 11-3 win against the Bristol Pitbulls. This takes his season tall 77 points and keeps the Knights neck and neck with the MK Lightning at the top of the table.
3. Sean Norris - MK Lightning
The MK Lightning also took maximum points this weekend in two tough fixtures. On Saturday night Sean scored a hat-trick against the Hull Seahawks including the game winning goal. Then on Sunday he got an assists in the Lightning’s impressive away victory against the Peterborough Phantoms. Since returning to the Lightning, He has been a big part of the fantastic form the team has shown the last few weeks.
Honourable mentions:
Jake Sylvester scored five goals in the Raiders double header against the Solway Sharks. Renny Marr recorded a 29 save shutout on Sunday against the Berkshire Bees. Matt Barron scored four goals on Friday night. And Adam Rosbottom also scored a hat-trick on Saturday against the Bristol Pitbulls.
