Recapping week 27 of the NIHL
Their was 11 games in action over the weekend and here is your mini review of each game.

Friday 14th February:

The Leeds Knights kicked off their three game weekend with a 7-2 victory in Romford against the Raiders. Kieran Brown with another hat-trick on the night to take his tally to 100 points. 

It was a goal-fest in the south-west derby where the Swindon Wildcats beat the Bristol Pitbulls 9-7 with Tomasz Malasinski scoring a hat-trick. Sean Morris scored four goals for the Pitbulls but the Cats would take the two points.

Saturday 15th March: 

The Romford Raiders clinched a 5-4 overtime victory in the first of a double header against the Berkshire Bees. Tjay Anderson with a hat-trick including the overtime winning goal. 

The Hull Seahawks took first blood in their double header against the Peterborough Phantoms with a 4-1 victory at home. Emil Švec with two goals on the night to take his points tally to 100 on the season. 

The Swindon Wildcats completed the four-point weekend and the double over the Bristol Pitbulls with a 6-2 win where Jake Bricknell scored five goals on the night, also getting his 100th point and 50th goal of the season. 

In the possible title deciding game, the Leeds Knights secured a huge 3-1 away victory against the MK Lightning coming from behind to make the comeback in a packed out building. Sam Gospel making 31/32 saves in the game. 

The Solway Sharks got a big win at home to keep their play off hopes alive. Caly Robertson with a hat-trick and Kell Beattie with two goals to get the Sharks a valuable two points. 

Sunday 16th March:

The Leeds Knights clinched the NIHL title, their third in a row with a 4-2 victory at home against the Solway Sharks. San Gospel playing his third game in three nights making 95/100 saves over the weekend. Matt Haywood with a three point night. 

The Peterborough Phantoms won the return game against the Hull Seahawks with a comeback from 2-0 down to win 5-3. Luke Ferrara and Jasper Foster with a pair of goals each to secure the two points and split the weekend. 

The Berkshire Bees also got their revenge on the Romford Raiders as they won 5-3 on their retro night. The two import forward getting the job done with two goals each on the night. 

The final game of the weekend saw the MK Lightning beat the Telford Tigers 9-5 with Dillon Lawrence scoring four goals on the night. Defenseman Patrik Forsberg also having a great game with four points.
