Defenseman Corey Goodison will be joining the Telford Tigers roster on a short-term agreement

Corey joined the Tigers in 2015 and had a successful seven years with the team. During his time with the Tigers, he contributed to winning three National Leagues and a National Cup.

This is what Head Coach and General Manager Tom Watkins had to say on the signing:

“Corey is a guy we know well, he has plenty of qualities and experience and I’m delighted to have him on board. In the short term, you never know what might happen in the short term in the next few weeks. Given we played with 4D and finished the game with 3D on Sunday we needed to add an extra body to support the team.”

In the four seasons between 2017 and 2022, Goodison scored 20+ points in each of those seasons.

He took a year off from hockey last season, but with the Telford Defenseman shortage, he will be coming back to help Tom Watkins team.

Corey will join the roster for this weekend's games against the Hull Seahawks and Leeds Knights.
