Telford Tigers head coach, Tom Watkins has made the decision to release Zach Yokoyama

Zach was brought in by the Telford Tigers at the start of the 24/25 season from the Nottingham Lions in the NIHL 1. In the three seasons with Nottingham he scored 132 points and got his move to the National.

In nine games for the Tigers, Zach scored 13 points in 12 games but after a tough start to the season, head coach Tom Watkins has made a few changes, bringing in two new imports.

The Tigers put out a statement saying:

“The club extends its sincere thanks to Zach for his commitment, dedication, and contributions throughout his time with the Tigers. His efforts both on and off the ice have been appreciated and we wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.”
