Top 3 NIHL Players of Week 10

1. Eric Henderson

The Telford Tigers have been in fantastic form and secured a four point weekend. A huge part of that has been the two new imports Eric Henderson and David Thomson. Eric stole the show this weekend scoring four goals and assisting twice. On Saturday night the Tigers beat the Raiders 6-3 where Henderson scored hat-trick and assisted another. Then on Sunday the Tigers came from behind to beat the Mk Lightning 3-2 in overtime with Henderson getting the game winning goal.

2. Max Wright

Berkshire Bees import goalie Max Wright played just the one game this weekend and had one of the best performances of any goalie this season! He saved 59/61 shots on Sunday against the Swindon Wildcats and then saved all four penalty shots in the shootout to help the Berkshire Bees get two points. He has been a fantastic pick up for the Bees and has kept them in many games. He is also top of the goalie charts with a 90.81 save percentage and has also saved the most shots out of any goalie this season.

3. Kieran Brown

The Leeds Knights captain makes this top three in back-to-back weeks after having another excellent weekend. On Saturday Kieran scored a hattrick in an 8-2 win against the Bees also assisting a goal. Then on Sunday despite the Knights losing to the Phantoms, Kieran scored another hat-trick and assisted to make it an eight point weekend. Kieran is closing in on Sobchak who leads the way in points and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if he can comeback to get his point scoring crown once again.

Honurable Mentions:

Mason Alderson starred in the Solway Sharks four point weekend scoring three goals and assisting twice. Balint Pakozdi had a great weekend for the Swindon Wildcats scoring four and assisting twice in their three games. Then Barron had a night of assists on Saturday grabbing five!
