Jay King signs with the Bristol Pitbulls for the rest of the 24/25 season

Jay King signs with the Bristol Pitbulls for the rest of the 24/25 season
After a short injury cover stint for the Bristol Pitbulls last weekend, the Pitbulls have made the decision to sign Jay King for the rest of the season.

Jay has had previous NIHL experience after spending five season playing for the Basingstoke Bison. However he made the move to Chelmsford in the NIHL 1 when the Bison dropped out of the league.

In those five seasons he scored 47 points and was a key piece of Ashley Tate and Tony Redmonds defense core. Redmond is now of course with the Bristol Pitbulls so Jay is a familiar face to his teams.

King has also played in the Elite League with the Edinburgh Capitals before they also dropped out the Elite League.

Last weekend he was brought into the Pitbulls team as injury cover but has clearly impressed the Pitbulls coaches who have offered him a deal for the full season.
