Renny Marr re-signs with the Wildcats for another two years!
The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats are delighted to confirm that Renny Marr will be stopping pucks in Swindon for two more years!

Renny continues to prove he’s one of the premier netminders in the National League and this year has consistently been in the top 3 of save percentage in the league. As well as this he’s had two shutouts this year on his way to 27 wins, as we go to writing.

As well as extending his contract for two more years, Renny, much like Chris Jones will be awarded a testimonial game as a thank you for his services to Swindon since arriving from Coventry Blaze.

Head Coach Aaron Nell said:

I’m undoubtedly thrilled to have Renny as our starting netmidner for two more years. He arrived as a young netminder but has continue to develop his game and be a leader on our team. He’s up there with the best netminders in the league and has been consistently proving that this year.

Having him for two more years means we can focus on building a team around him which can compete for trophies on all fronts and have ultimate confidence in their netminder behind them!

Renny himself added:

I’m excited to be back for another 2 years taking me into my testimonial year. I wouldn't have thought 8 years ago that I would be member of the Wildcats for such a long time, but it’s a first class organisation that feels like home so personally it was and easy decision to return!
