The following penalties have been reviewed and the players are available to play in the next game (subject to the teams reviewing accumulated player personal penalty points):

The Penalty assessed at 37.22 a 5 Minute Major penalty- Rule 46 fighting is correct and meets the requirements of IHUK in house Rule 46 for equal and willing combatants.

The player receives 1 penalty point and is free to play subject to accumulated penalty points

The Penalty assessed at 37.22 a 5 minute Major penalty- Rule 46 fighting is correct and meets the requirements of IHUK in house Rule 46 for equal and willing combatants.

Rule 41 - Boarding @ 47:20

The penalty assessed at 47.20 a 5 Minute Major + Game Misconduct Rule 41 Boarding is correct.

Play is in the neutral zone on the blue line entering the Bristol defensive zone, some 3 -4 feet from the boards, Swindon #12 collects the puck and shoos it on goal, Bristol #19 skates at speed towards #12 plants himself to make a check and hits through the chest, which then throws him violently backwards towards the boards with the head /neck area being the first point of contact with the boards.

41.4. MAJOR PENALTY AND GAME MISCONDUCT PENALTY

The Referee, at their discretion, may assess a Major and a Game Misconduct Penalty if, in their judgment, the Player recklessly endangers their opponent by “boarding” and the player would not be sufficiently sanctioned by imposing a Major Penalty. Such assessment of reckless endangerment shall be based on the severity of the infraction, severity of the contact, the degree the requirements of Rule 41.4 of violence and the general reprehensibility involved.

The player receives 5 penalty points and is suspended for 1 game under the totting up procedure for reaching 10 penalty points.
